Hello, GIJoe!

I just made a new setup of Xoops 2.0.16, hid the dB user, password and dB name as usual. Worked OK.

Then installed Protector as carefully as I can, just as I made before in 4 other sites.

At first everything seems to work fine; after a short time I get the much feared blank page.

So I access to administration area thru www.mysite.com/admin.php to try to fix via the preferences. Nothing seems to work.

So I use my FTP to go to xoops_trust_path/modules/protector/configs to take a look. But I was denied access to the folder.

Since I had no module, but system, I took down everything and started again. Tomorrow I'll install Protector once again.

Any idea?

Why?
"configs" must be a directory you made.
Check both its permission and its owner.

Just remove configs/*

This is the right way to rescue it.

Thanks for the advice, GIJoe!

Sorry for the tardy reply, but I was having some conection issues.

Obviously I made something wrong, really wrong. So I made a fresh install and now everything seems to be OK.

Thanks again!
