I have the new installed version of Protector.
My database is damage and it could not enter to the administration of the site.
If I wanted login like administrator, welcomed me and I returned to the index like visitor.
From phpmyadmin, enter to the database and it repairs it.
Solved this, enter the protector and I obtained this:
17/2/2007 10:46:15 Invitados 195.225.177.14
IE 6.0Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1;SV1)
URI SPAM
/modules/news/comment_post.php SPAM POINT: 120
That it means?, the protector failure?, that I should make?

The protector does not damage the database.

This damage the database, this attack.
After the attack, the database is damaged. I can "repair" (To arrange) (To reconstruct) the database from phpmyadmin...."Button repair".
The question is, the protector could not anticipate this attack?, why ?.

The very fact that you are seeing the message is telling you that Protector IS doing its job. It has detected the URI spam and thus protected your site. Otherwise, you would not even know there was a URI attack. Have you recovered the tables just by "REPAIR TABLE"?
If so, this is not a true damage.
Just an accedent occurred with MySQL rather frequently.
Protector DID PROTECT you site from spam bomb.
If you suspect Protector or me, uninstall Protector right now.

What damage do you have?
