I have the module file for not found error as well. I did check everything multiple times. I did everything according to the readme file.
php debug did not give any errors in the admins modules section. My server's error log says:

Perhaps, you've copied xoops_trust_path/modules/wraps into your XOOPS_ROOT_PATH/modules/
Did everything once again, stil not working.
There is a call to xoops_version.php in the trust path. (Xoops executes script I add to that file)

Perhaps you've still misunderstood it.
trust_path's xoops_version.php should not be called as script directly.
damn...the path in mainfile has to be absolute. Sorry :(
