i tried this as i have always used the autologin hacks from here but this time after editing the mtemplate file i logged out of my site to try it and ended up on user.php with a white page and now i cant log into to my admin to edit the template again so i am stuck?
any ideas how i can just edit the template files to undo this?

ahh its ok i just noticed a post about v2.2X that it has a file in the root of the install called recovery.php and you can hard log in from there.. so i can now go fix my templates..
