hi
Thanks to the man that made xoops easy.
Well, i installed tinycontent-1.5-duplicatable, but reading the read me file, there's 2 things i dont understand (my english is not perfect):

1-copy the directory of tinycontent into tinycontent* entirely!!!
ok, i have to upload it to tinycontent* .
where is it this tinycontent* directory!!!or do i have to create it,if yes where!!!

2-the 1st one should not be original Tiny Content, but be this hacked module
what does it mean!!!

so lets say i have uploaded tinyd, and installed it from the admin, what do i have to do after!!!.so that i can duplicate it.
please try to be clear, with step by step explaining.

regards
adel from algeria (algerian xoops).

Ok, see if this will help you...

#1 - Unzip the TinyD to a local folder (for example: anyware/tinycontent).

#2 - Copy the folder you just created and give it a new name: tinycontent0

#3 - Repeate #2 for as many TinyD's you want giving them a name: tinycontent1, tinycontent2 and so on...

Now you are ready to FTP those directories to your xoops server.
Note, if you already has a tinycontent (not dublicateble) you must replace the original tinycontent with the new one you just prepared in #1.

#4 - FTP as many folders/directories of TinyD as you need in to the modules folder. Your file structure should look like this...

xoopsroot/modules/tinycontent
xoopsroot/modules/tinycontent0
xoopsroot/modules/tinycontent1
xoopsroot/modules/tinycontent2
and so on...

#5 - Go to xoops admin and install the new modules and if you had a tinycontent before update it.

That should do it!

hi madsen.

Thank you for polite explanations.

I'm good and love to make some programs, on the other hand, I'm weak to explain the usage of my works to others.

I just installed TidyD. What you have to do is make actual directories on your server through ftp.

Your first module will be called Tiny Content.
All modules after that will be

Tiny Content1
Tiny Content2
Tiny Content3

After you have created these directories, than upload the original files from Tiny Content.

I hope this helps. http://www.lyric-music.com/uploads/tinyd setup.jpg

Thank you for a good image.

Thanks for making things so simple but I think I've made a mistake along the lines somewhere!!!

I have completed all tasks to 5. I actually uploaded the tinycontent with all the rest. I then installed tinycontent and tinycontent0. Renamed then and then added data to tinycontent. When I went to add data to tinycontent0 the page goes blank and if I tell the site to make the content visible then the whole site goes blank. I have told the site to make the menu visible and that is fine. It is visible in all pages but as soon as I tell it to make tinycontent0 content visible the whole site goes blank!

Probably like my brain!!!
