Hi GI Joe,

Why do you call this wonderful software Beta?

When I saw the piCal version number, I opted for Agenda-x 2.2.0(and wasted a lot of time trying to get it working )

piCal is wonderful and does not feel like a beta release.

Please continue the great work.

Best Regards,

Marco

hi Marco.

I'm glad to see your message.
You raised my motivation about developping piCal.

The timezone problem with some servers made piCal-0.6 as beta version in a long term.
Now, this problem was fixed. And piCal-0.6 became stable version.
I thank to AZNative very much.

Hi GiJoe,

Aha, I haven't noticed the timezone bug yet, since we are hosting in Japan.

I am setting up a web site for the Kansai Time Out with Xoops. Should be life within a month from now.

One nice feature I would like to suggest is to assign a color to a category, so that you can see instantly which category an event belongs to.

Thanks again for the great module.

Hey GI Joe!

Same as Marco, I first opted for Agenda, just because piCal was beta (and as stupid[human] as we/I are/am - it had a rather small number). What a stupid decision, as piCal is miles better!

And now you released it as stable::great news!

ThanX for your work, it is really appreciated.

Regards

Jason MR

hi Jason MR.

As I am not satisfied by the implementation of piCal, it is numbered as smaller than 1.0

My target point of piCal is much higher

Hi GIJOE!

Sorry for the late reply, but may I ask, what exactly you don't like about the implementation? (natural curiosity)

Good to see your motivation back

This is the reasons:

- Unplanned enhancement eg) The type of date-time should not be 32bit integer.
- Double template system (It is only a weak point, now)
- Too many "echo" exist
etc...

But in Japan, there is a proverb like this:
"A worse child is more lovely"

I'll continue to develop this "lovely" module.

Hi GI Joe,

Good to hear you are working on piCal. It is greatly appreciated.

One function, I would like to see is to have different colors for different categories. So from the color you can recognise what kind of category it belongs to.

Good Luck,

Marco
