Dear programmer,

I'd like to know if you're planning on creating the possibility to select categories for events. I think that would be a great improvement to the concept.

Keep up the good work! I truly like your module and I have already added it to my page!

Greets!

hi jayjay.

Thank you for your suggestion.
I'll add the feature of category into piCal near future.

Hi GIJOE

A question...

If I install PiCal now, then you upgrade to include categories (which I really want to happen!). will it be possible to import the old entries into the new version - then assign categories to them?

I need to commit very soon to either using Pical or AgendaX on a site. I like Pical better in just about every respect except the lack of categories. But I don;t want to get a lot of entries - then have to re-enter them all.

Hope that makes sense and thanks again for this mod - it's very nice!

I'll implement categories along RFC2445.
As the field of category is blank now,
all of older records will be treated as no categories.

Don't forget that I want to implement full featured class for RFC2445 (iCalendar) only. Therefore, There is not in my eyes such a module named Agenda-X.

Hi GIJOE,

That's great news! iCalendar certainly has a big user base so following that standard is highly recommended.

Thanks again for considering the idea of categories!

Greets,

Jay Jay
