Hi,

For some reason I cannot upload certain image files. The screen is just blank with no error. When I look in the image library everthing is there but the photo. The name is there and the properties but no photo. Ther error is not specific to a file type (.jpg, .gif, etc) or permissions.

I have also made a change to the httpd.conf and php.ini to allow large files sizes to upload.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Mike

hmmm.
It sounds a difficult problem.
Does "certain image files" mean that another files can be upload ?
Did you try smaller images ?

"blank screen" is shown in some PHP environment with the options "make Thumnails" && "using GD" && "Force GD2".

Show me the result of "Check confs&envs".

hi Mike.

did you try?
Check 'GD2' work correctly under your GD bundled with PHP

If it shows blank screen, you have to turn "force GD2" off.

Hi,

That seems to have worked! I turned off "force GD2" and I can upload again

Now I have a new problem. The thumbs look terrible..

Sould I try one of the other packages? How do I do that? Can I download?

Thanks,

Mike

You can use NetPBM binary.

Download the binaries fitted your server from here
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7130&package_id=14464

put them into your server and add executable permission to them.

set the path into preferences of myAlbum-P.

One more question. What default font do you use and how can I make my xoops site run the same font?

Thank you again.
