I'm paying a literature/language undergraduate student to translate a lot of xoops modules, due to my lack of time

I've instaled the 2.73 and will upgrade to 2.74 soon (hope today or tomorrow)

Someone else is doing this upgrade job for me , also due to my lack of time

I've noticed a lot of strings missing in my 2.73 install but I dont know if they installed the new transation files or not

I've downloaded the 2.74 and found the new strings there

but with a problem :

When I open them with editplus they appear with wrong formating

Its a windows/linux stuff (I cant describe it)

this is related with line break issue

I'm trying to find a way to keep it up with translations

your checker cant be used in my server... (I think)

Do you know some other tool?

hi Oliver.

At first, I'm sorry I could not understand what you mean with accuracy.

If the problem is to translate English to another languages, it's easy.

Open your language files and edit the lines after
// Appended by Xoops Language Checker -GIJOE- in (timestamp)

If you mean the problem of line break(CR or LF or CRLF), you can select one from a lot of tools.

ok, it's hard to explain

But I've found the //appended and also found a way to deal with the problem

I have to copy - paste the text into another editor./

Its look like this in my editplus:

// Appended by Xoops Language Checker -GIJOE- in (timestamp)[]content contend [] content

instead of

// Appended by Xoops Language Checker -GIJOE- in (timestamp)
content
content

[] is actualy a square

hi Oliver.

Now, I can understand what you mean.

It's only a line break issue.

my Xoops Language Checker adds lines separated by LF.
Hence, Some language files separated by CR+LF.

You can also use some tools to unite line feed codes.
