THe french translations is finished at 99 percent but I have a little problem.

In weekly view the days are in french but the date in english (with st, th, rd end)

exemple : the date is "3 rd NOV" but in French the date must be "3 NOV" the rd doesn't exist in french date.

I changed the "pical_vars.phtml" file and all langage files but I haven't the good date.

How can I change this ?

It's the last problems seems exist in the french translation.

Thanks

hi yerac.

Thank you for your translation.

At first, I have to say "use piCal >= 0.502", too.
I have improved aroud "locales".

New constants added.

define('_PICAL_LOCALE','en_US') ;
define('_PICAL_STRFFMT_DATE','%x') ;
define('_PICAL_FMT_MD','%2$s %1$s') ;

The weekly view of 0.502 uses the date&month names described in pical_vars.phtml.

Perhaps the LOCALE of french is 'fr'.

If you want another format of strftime() in detail view,
see the php manual,
and change _PICAL_STRFMT_DATE.

If you finish translating, send it to me please.

Thanks GiJoe

I modified the french translation and now it's well.

I test actually the translations for find the possible errors.
I sent you the translation today or tomorrow after the tests.

I want to know if it's possible, when you add the translations in your downloads, to add pical module in Xoops France downloads.

Thanks
Olivier :)

Probably the LOCALE for Russia is "ru".
I've added this locale into your langauge file.

Thank you for your sending language files!
These files will be included in version >= 0.506

hi pierre.
At first I'm sorry that I can't treat accents.
The umlaut and accents can't be normally displayed and/or edited in Japanese.

I have problem with the accentuation.
All the french accents (e, e, a c ...) are replaced by "?".
This problem has just fixed the version >= 0.506
Thank you for your reporting it.

I saw also that "decembre" is not displayed properly
Do you mean "de'cembre" is right and "decembre" is wrong?

I've received 2 French language files.
I adopted the first sending, and included it in the archive of piCal.

I can't judge which is better at all, sorry.

I will try the version 0.506

What I mean for the D衲ember issue is that the problem occurs only when you want to add event in the form in the small calendar where you choose the day of the event d衲ember is displayed "D´cember"

Same thing for "S裢ectionner une date" displayed: "Sélectionner une date"

Regards
Pierre

Do you mean the Calendar of JavaScript?

If so, this is not the issue of piCal, but the issue of XOOPS core.
piCal is only a user of 'include/calendarjs.php'.

The JavaScript uses the language in the part of XOOPS core.
Therefore, if you'd like to improve it, write it to http://www.xoops.org/ or XOOPS French, please.
